Job Description

As a Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements for assigned funds.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Managing daily fund operations, including reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
  • Preparing periodic reports for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Assisting in the calculation of net asset values (NAVs) for investment funds.
  • Coordinating with auditors for annual audits and addressing audit queries.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
  • Providing support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • 3 years of minimum USD Fund Accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and fund administration processes.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
