Job Description

As a Full Stack Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze business requirements, enhancement requests, and technical specifications to design and deliver scalable software solutions.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using modern development frameworks and best practices.
  • Prepare technical specifications, test plans, and test data to support solution delivery and quality assurance activities.
  • Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Conduct post-implementation validation, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business users, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, technical excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support production releases, system enhancements, and ongoing application maintenance.
  • Contribute to large-scale transformation, modernization, and cloud adoption programmes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Full Stack Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications in complex environments.
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes within financial services or insurance is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with vendors and multi-disciplinary delivery teams is advantageous.



Skills:Frontend: React and/or Angular, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5 / CSS3

Backend: Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Microservices architecture and design

APIs & Integration: RESTful API development, API versioning, Authentication and authorization and System integration and secure API design

Databases: PostgreSQL / PolarDB, Oracle / PolarDB, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and Redis

Preferred Skills

  • Azure Blob Storage and/or Alibaba Cloud OSS
  • Azure Service Bus and/or RocketMQ
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • GitHub, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools
  • Automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices
  • Logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting solutions
  • Cloud-native and event-driven architecture
