We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations for a US Listed organisation. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and strategic planning to ensure optimal performance.

Job Description

  • Report to the CFO and work closely with commercial leaders of the firm
  • Oversee and develop a sizeable accounting and finance team of over 15 people
  • Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
  • Monitoring and managing cash flow, cost control, and financial performance metrics
  • Providing financial advice to senior management for business planning and growth strategies
  • Supervising and mentoring the accounting and finance team to enhance performance
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for audits and financial reviews
  • Implementing and improving financial systems, processes, and controls

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as HKICPA, AICPA, ACCA or equalivent
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Demonstrate a solid track record of career progression from other sizeable MNCs
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a decent sized team effectively
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities across all level
  • Language capability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
