Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall ownership of the firm's finance function, ensuring effective management of financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, transfer pricing, treasury operations, payroll governance, taxation matters, and internal control frameworks.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis, business intelligence, and scenario modelling that support strategic decision-making, commercial growth initiatives, and long-term business objectives.
  • Oversee the firm's financial resources, including cash management, liquidity planning, profitability assessment, foreign exchange exposure, and capital allocation. Develop and maintain robust banking relationships and financing arrangements to support future expansion.
  • Champion a culture of financial accountability by driving cost management and operational efficiency initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance performance, improve resilience, and strengthen the firm's financial position.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory, statutory, tax, audit, and corporate governance requirements across applicable jurisdictions, maintaining a strong compliance and risk management framework.
  • Act as the primary liaison with key external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, banking partners, fund administrators, and other professional service providers.
  • Lead finance-related transformation projects, focusing on process enhancement, automation, reporting improvements, data analytics, and the adoption of technology solutions that improve business insight and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee the administration and ongoing management of the firm's retained profit-sharing programme.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the finance team, setting the direction for the function while serving as a trusted business partner to senior management and contributing to the firm's overall strategy and growth agenda.



The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience across finance, accounting, financial management, or corporate finance functions, ideally gained within asset management, investment management, hedge funds, financial institutions, or professional services environments.
  • Professionally qualified accountant with a recognised designation such as CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or an equivalent qualification.
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise across key finance disciplines, including financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, transfer pricing, taxation, and internal control frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including payroll coordination, expense management, accounts payable, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Proven track record in managing banking relationships, cash management activities, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory, statutory, tax, and financial reporting requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience supporting businesses through periods of growth and expansion, particularly within complex or multi-jurisdictional operating environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, together with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to operate effectively in a professional stakeholder-facing environment.
