A leading international consultancy is seeking an experienced Design Manager to support a portfolio of complex infrastructure and development projects across the region.

This opportunity will suit individuals who are experienced in managing design functions within fast-paced project environments and can contribute to effective project delivery from a technical and coordination perspective.

Job Description

  • Oversee the overall planning and execution of design activities across multiple project stages
  • Act as a key coordination point between technical teams and project delivery functions
  • Review and guide design development to ensure alignment with project objectives and execution constraints
  • Manage interfaces between disciplines to ensure consistent and coordinated outputs
  • Advise on technical standards, documentation quality, and submission requirements
  • Engage with external consultants and partners to maintain alignment across all design inputs
  • Contribute to improving workflow efficiency, coordination processes, and delivery practices



The Successful Applicant

  • Chartered Engineer (MHKIE / MICE or equivalent) , QP and PE
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Professional accreditation (or working towards) preferred
  • Strong experience in large-scale infrastructure especially in the transportation area
  • Proven ability to manage design and build
  • Familiarity with regional project environments and industry practices
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with contractors before, candidate currently from contractor but experience in consultancy before will also be considered
