Job Description

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Identify, collect, and analyze relevant data from multiple digital and physical sources.
  • Generate actionable insights using machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Prepare datasets through annotation, segmentation, and preprocessing for model training and fine-tuning.
  • Evaluate market-available LLM and machine learning models and recommend suitable options.
  • Support the design and implementation of RAG-based data pipelines for AI use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are aligned with business goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Proven ability to deliver business insights using machine learning techniques.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, NumPy, and data science toolkits.
  • Practical experience applying LLMs to business problems, including fine-tuning strategies.
  • Familiar with data preparation best practices and model training workflows.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, or related data platforms.
  • Exposure to advanced data management approaches such as RAG pipelines.
  • Confident communicator in both Cantonese and English within a business environment.
