Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable, modern data architectures across the organisation
  • Develop data models to support investment data, analytics, and reporting needs
  • Lead ETL processes and optimise data pipelines for performance and reliability
  • Oversee master data management and data quality frameworks
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members
  • Drive adoption of cloud data technologies, including Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • Ensure governance, consistency, and best practices in data lifecycle management
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, delivering solutions under evolving business needs

The Successful Applicant

  • 7-8 years' experience in data architecture or related roles
  • Strong expertise in modern data architecture and data modelling techniques
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and cloud ecosystems
  • Proven background in ETL development, MDM, and data quality management
  • Familiarity with investment data within asset management or securities firms
  • Demonstrated leadership or team management experience
  • Strong business understanding within wealth management or brokerage environments
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-changing environments
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
