Job Description

As a Business Analyst (New Business), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate business discussions and requirement workshops to define project objectives.
  • Prepare high-quality business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional documentation.
  • Support system enhancement, integration, and transformation initiatives across business applications.
  • Collaborate closely with development and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform process analysis and recommend improvements to business workflows.
  • Support project delivery activities including requirement clarification, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Contribute to new business and system modernization projects from initiation through implementation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Analyst (New Business) should have:

  • Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience with proven requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with both business users and technology teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
  • Experience within insurance industries is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end business processes and customer-facing digital platforms is a plus.
