About Our Client

Reporting into senior leadership, this role will take full ownership of the beauty category, leading strategy development, brand partnerships, product innovation, and commercial execution across international markets.

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle from identifying and securing brand partnerships through to product development and go-to-market delivery while leading a team and collaborating cross-functionally on a global scale.

This position requires a commercially driven leader with strong industry insight, capable of translating market trends into scalable business opportunities.

Job Description

  • Define and deliver the category strategy for beauty, aligned with overall commercial objectives
  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing product and category team
  • Drive brand acquisition and partnership strategy, building long-term relationships with global, regional, and emerging brands
  • Oversee the development of commercially viable product collections, ensuring readiness for client engagement
  • Collaborate with brand partners and suppliers to deliver products within cost, margin, quality, and timeline targets
  • Lead cross-functional project execution to support key commercial initiatives and bids
  • Optimise and maintain category performance data, including pricing, product pipelines, and sample management
  • Embed sustainability principles into sourcing, packaging, and product development decisions
  • Leverage consumer insights and market intelligence to inform strategy and drive growth



The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience within the beauty industry, with a strong track record in commercial or category leadership roles
  • Proven expertise in brand partnerships, licensing, and product development
  • Strong commercial acumen, including costing, pricing strategy, and margin optimisation
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute category and go-to-market strategies at scale
  • Experience leading and developing cross-functional or regional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with exposure to international markets and partners
  • Strategic, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate both at a high level and in execution
