Our client is an international law firm with a leading Banking & Finance practice in Hong Kong.

Job Description

As a Banking & Finance Paralegal, your role will support on cross-border transactions including loans, acquisitions, debt finance, ect.

The responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with the preparation, review, and organization of legal documentation for banking and finance transactions.
  • Conducting legal research and providing summaries to support the legal team.
  • Coordinating with clients, external counsel, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Supporting the team in drafting standard legal documents and correspondence.
  • Handling administrative tasks related to transaction closings and document execution.
  • Providing general paralegal support to the legal department as needed.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of banking & finance Paralegal experience - candidates with experience in asset finance who are looking to change to a broader banking & finance role, will also be considered. The role requires fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin). This position is ideal for someone who is mature-minded, proactive and with strong attention-to-detail.
