Job Description

As an AVP Regulatory Compliance, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures in line with local regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and advising relevant stakeholders on their potential impact.
  • Providing guidance and training to internal teams to ensure compliance awareness across the organisation.
  • Conducting regular compliance reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management and external regulators as required.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance issues effectively.
  • Supporting the implementation of regulatory projects and initiatives within the banking and financial services sector.
  • Ensuring timely submission of regulatory filings and reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP Regulatory Compliance should have:

  • 5-10 years of regulatory/general compliance from retail/corporate/commercial bank
  • preferably with strong retail banking experience
  • A strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in law, finance, or related fields.
  • Must be able to read and write chinese
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to analyze regulatory updates and implement necessary changes effectively.
