Job Description

  • Oversee the implementation of medical humanitarian programs across multiple countries.
  • Manage project operations including budgeting, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Supervise both local and overseas teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare high-quality program reports and analyze data for performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify and select medical deliverables.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas.
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure team performance through supervision and appraisals.
  • Participate in recruitment and provide leadership support across project functions.
  • Travel to regions with limited resources, including Southeast Asia and Africa, as required.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • A bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing multi-partner projects, ideally with government agencies.
  • Experience in programs/projects management in developing countries or NGOs is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Mainland China's context and government collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; additional languages such as French or Spanish are advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and deliver results under pressure.
  • A passion for humanitarian work and a willingness to travel to resource-scarce regions.
