Our Client is a global manufacturer. Hong Kong office takes up key position for overseeing commercial operations, treasury investments, and intercompany activities while supporting Asia-Pacific business growth.

Job Description

  • Monitor and analyze a diversified investment portfolio including equities, funds, bonds, structured products, deposits, and intercompany advances.
  • Prepare portfolio performance, income, fee, and cost analysis reports, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
  • Review custody statements, term sheets, and investment documentation to maintain accurate portfolio records.
  • Prepare management reports covering performance trends, asset allocation, exposure analysis, and investment-related insights.
  • Handle full-set accounting for the Hong Kong entity, including monthly closing, journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Coordinate with overseas offices and external auditors on financial reporting and compliance matters.
  • Support invoicing, accounts receivable/payable activities, and finance administration tasks.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in private banking, family office, asset management, portfolio reporting, or investment operations.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, including equities, bonds, funds, and structured products.
  • Proven ability to analyze portfolio performance, investment returns, and fee structures.
  • Solid accounting knowledge with experience handling full-set accounts and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a small-office environment.
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, HKICPA, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus.
