This permanent role requires expertise in accounting and finance to support strategic initiatives and ensure sound financial management.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, review, and enhancement of the Bank's capital management framework, including policies, methodologies, and operating procedures.Conduct capital forecasting and scenario analysis, assisting with both short-term and long-term capital planning initiatives.Monitor key capital adequacy metrics, investigate variances and emerging trends, and provide analysis to support management decision-making.Assist in the preparation of capital plans and support activities related to the issuance, redemption, and optimization of capital instruments.Contribute to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), including capital stress testing and regulatory capital assessments.Support the implementation of new and evolving regulatory requirements relating to capital management and prudential standards.Participate in recovery and resolution planning activities, including the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of recovery plans.Prepare periodic capital management reports and presentations for senior management and the parent company.Assist with the assessment of new business initiatives, products, and strategic projects from a capital impact perspective.Support system enhancement initiatives, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement projects related to capital management.Perform ad hoc analysis, stress testing, and scenario modelling to support business planning and management reporting requirements.The Successful ApplicantRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in capital management, regulatory reporting, finance, treasury, risk management, or audit within the banking or financial services sector.Professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM are highly regarded.Sound understanding of banking products, financial accounting concepts, and capital management principles.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including Basel standards, Banking (Capital) Rules, Supervisory Policy Manual (SPM) requirements, and recovery and resolution planning would be advantageous.Exposure to capital stress testing, treasury functions, or balance sheet management is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin capability is preferred.What's on OfferGuaranteed 12-month salary plus discretionary bonus.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Comprehensive employee benefits and financial incentives.ContactNicole HuiQuote job refJN-072026-7063643Phone number+852 3412 4832Job summaryFunctionBanking & Financial ServicesSpecialisationTreasuryWhat is your area of specialisation?Financial ServicesLocationHong KongJob Type:PermanentConsultant nameNicole HuiConsultant phone+852 3412 4832Job ReferenceJN-072026-7063643
