Job Description



As part of our client's continued growth strategy, their Asset Management business is expanding its institutional sales coverage across both Hong Kong and international markets. They are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Institutional Sales professional to play a key role in driving business development, client acquisition and relationship management across a broad spectrum of institutional investors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing investment platform at a pivotal stage of expansion, helping to strengthen our presence in Hong Kong while building new relationships with overseas investors across Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other strategic markets. The successful candidate will work closely with investment, product and senior management teams to enhance the firm's market positioning and grow assets under management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the expansion of the firm's institutional client base across Hong Kong and selected international markets.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies targeting pension funds, insurance companies, banks, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, corporates and other institutional investors.
  • Leverage existing industry networks to generate new business opportunities and establish long-term client relationships.
  • Promote the firm's investment capabilities across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternative investment solutions.
  • Partner with investment and product teams to deliver tailored investment solutions that meet client objectives and portfolio requirements.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and client meetings to enhance market visibility and brand recognition.
  • Monitor market developments, regulatory changes and investor trends to identify business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Prepare high-quality marketing materials, client proposals and business presentations.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updat

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of institutional sales experience gained within asset management, private banking, investment management or financial services.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing institutional relationships in Hong Kong, with exposure to international investors highly preferred.
  • Well-established network across pension funds, insurance companies, banks, family offices, corporates and other institutional investors.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and capital markets.
  • Self-driven, commercially minded and able to thrive in a growing and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills.
  • Native Cantonese and fluent English are essential.
  • Fluent Mandarin is highly preferred given the firm's growing engagement with Greater China and cross-border investors.
  • Ability to work effectively with both local and international clients and stakeholders
