Job Description

As a Tester/Quality Assurance, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting software defects or inconsistencies.
  • Collaborating with developers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conducting regression testing to verify fixes and updates.
  • Providing detailed test reports to stakeholders for review.
  • Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and tools.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing by providing guidance and assistance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tester/Quality Assurance should have:

  • A strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Experience in identifying and troubleshooting software defects.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is an advantage.
  • Adaptability to work in a temporary role based in Hong Kong.
