As a System Analyst in the Technology & Telecoms industry, based in Hong Kong, you will play a key role in analysing, designing, and implementing technology solutions. This temporary position offers a role to contribute to impactful projects within the technology department.

About Our Client

Our client is an organisation operates within the Technology & Telecoms industry and is based in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Design and propose technical solutions based on business and system requirements
  • Lead application development and enhancement projects in an Agile environment
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot technologies
  • Participate in frontend development involving React/React Native applications
  • Conduct technical analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation
  • Oversee system enhancements, bug fixing, and production support activities
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure delivery quality and best practices
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review code quality and ensure compliance with development standards
  • Evaluate solution options and recommend approaches balancing business and technical needs
  • Support vulnerability remediation and application security improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, and technical documentation

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot development
  • Proficiency in React or React Native development
  • Experience in technical solution design and system architecture planning
  • Proven track record in leading small development teams (2-5 developers)
  • Ability to independently analyse technical issues and provide effective resolutions
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience working with offshore development teams is advantageous
  • Exposure to commercial client-facing projects is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Node.js and web application development is beneficial
  • Experience in security enhancement or penetration testing remediation is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in English and native-level Cantonese
  • Less experience candidate will be considered as Junior fullstack system analyst.
