We are looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our growing sportswear and outerwear team. This role focuses primarily on product development, while supporting fit evaluation and pattern‑related tasks to deliver performance‑driven, high‑quality apparel.

Job Description

  • Drive the lifecycle of each garment style, from initial design handoff through sample development, ensuring product intent, functionality, and timelines are achieved.
  • Translate design concepts into clear, detailed technical documentation, including specifications, construction guidelines, and measurement updates.
  • Coordinate daily with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to monitor sample status, troubleshoot delays, and maintain accurate development records.
  • Review prototypes and size runs to assess fit, proportions, workmanship, and construction, providing concise and actionable improvement notes.
  • Lead and document fit reviews using live models or mannequins, aligning with designers and developers to refine garment performance.
  • Support pattern interpretation by identifying issues in balance, shape, or construction and recommending practical solutions for vendors.
  • Assist with material usage estimates and other early‑stage development inputs to support cost and efficiency planning.
  • Participate in on‑site fit sessions and vendor collaboration meetings when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong foundation in apparel product development, with working experience in fit evaluation and pattern analysis.
  • Proficient with Gerber AccuMark or equivalent pattern systems.
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office for technical documentation and communication.
  • Understanding of garment engineering, fabric behaviour, and quality requirements for sportswear and outerwear.
  • Ability to facilitate fit sessions and provide technical guidance.
  • Experience with 3D software is an advantage as the team progresses toward 3D development workflows
