About Our Client

Our client is a well-established sourcing and trading business with a strong footprint across the US and European markets. With integrated capabilities spanning design, merchandising, and production, they are now seeking a commercially driven Senior Merchandising Manager to lead the Bags & Accessories division and drive business growth.

Job Description

  • Drive business growth and sales performance by developing existing clients and actively bringing in new customers
  • Lead and manage a small merchandising team, setting targets and ensuring delivery against divisional objectives
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from design concept, development, and sampling through to bulk production and delivery
  • Partner closely with clients on product direction, ensuring alignment on trend, pricing, and commercial strategy
  • Ensure effective merchandising flow and operational excellence, working closely with internal QC to maintain product quality standards
  • Coordinate with vendors across Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and China to ensure smooth production execution
  • Travel with clients to support business development and vendor management
  • Drive pricing negotiations and margin optimisation across customers, agents, and suppliers



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Textile & Apparel or related disciplines
  • Proven experience in fashion sourcing or trading, with a strong focus on bags and accessories
  • Demonstrated team management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and drive performance
  • Strong client-facing and commercial mindset, with experience owning sales targets or business growth initiatives
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end product flow, from design, development, merchandising to production
  • Experience working with multi-country vendor bases across Asia
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
