As part of its continued expansion strategy, they are seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to support strategic investments, M&A transactions, joint ventures, asset acquisitions, and regional business operations.Job DescriptionLead and manage domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, investments, restructurings and strategic partnerships.Provide legal support on hotel acquisitions, management agreements, franchise arrangements, mixed-use developments and hospitality-related investments.Structure, negotiate and draft transaction documentationCoordinate legal due diligence exercises and oversee external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.Advise management on transaction risks, deal structuring and execution strategies.Support regional business operations on a broad range of commercial and legal matters.Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements including: Hotel management agreement, Franchise agreements, Service and procurement contracts, Licensing agreements, Strategic partnership agreementsProvide practical and commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholdersAdvise on regulatory, compliance, governance and risk management matters across multiple jurisdictions.Support corporate governance matters for regional entities, joint ventures and investment vehicles.Assist with corporate restructuring projects and post-acquisition integration activities.Partner closely with senior executives, finance, development, investment, asset management and operational teams.The Successful ApplicantQualified lawyer in Hong Kong, UK, Australia, Singapore or other common law jurisdiction.Minimum 13 years' post-qualification experience.Strong foundation in corporate law, M&A and cross-border transactions.Exposure to hospitality, real estate, private equity, infrastructure or consumer-facing industries would be highly advantageous.Proven experience supporting regional businesses across multiple jurisdictions in Asia Pacific.Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance legal and business considerations.Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.What's on OfferRegional exposureContactChristy ChengQuote job refJN-092026-7104805Phone number+852 2848 4797Job summaryFunctionLegalSpecialisationCommercialWhat is your area of specialisation?PropertyLocationHong Kong IslandJob Type:PermanentConsultant nameChristy ChengConsultant phone+852 2848 4797Job ReferenceJN-092026-7104805
