Job Description

  • Design and develop full-stack applications to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain backend services using Python, with opportunities to work with Java and other programming languages.
  • Develop modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and JavaScript technologies.
  • Architect and implement scalable microservices and event-driven solutions.
  • Create high-performance backend systems that support business-critical applications.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to minimise business impact.
  • Drive software development best practices, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
  • Coordinate project delivery and development activities across multiple locations.
  • Contribute to CI/CD implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong hands-on experience in Python software development.
  • Exposure to additional programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, or Rust.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Proven frontend development experience using React, Next.js, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of relational and NoSQL database technologies.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, analytics, or data science concepts is advantageous.
  • Exposure to Dash or similar UI frameworks is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within distributed and cross-functional teams.
