About Our Client

Our client is a reputable law firm with a well-established private client practice. They are seeking a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join their team, advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and family offices on a broad range of private wealth, succession planning, and estate administration matters.

Job Description

  • Advise clients on wills drafting, estate planning, succession planning, and probate matters
  • Handle estate administration and probate applications
  • Provide legal advice on trusts, wealth preservation, family governance, and asset succession structures
  • Assist high-net-worth individuals and families with cross-border estate planning considerations
  • Liaise with executors, trustees, family offices, accountants, and other professional advisers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality legal advice and responsive service
  • Participate in business development and contribute to the growth of the private client practice

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong or a recognized common law jurisdiction
  • Minimum 5 years' PQE with experience in private client, trusts, wills, probate, and estate planning matters
  • Strong technical knowledge of succession and probate law
  • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and private clients is highly preferred
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
  • Fluent English, Cantonese and Manadarin
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
