The Research function enables first class executive search services to clients by providing vital support to Partners. As a Research Consultant, you are responsible for sourcing and engaging relevant C-level candidates; cultivating relationships for future opportunities, as well as commercial leads for the wider business. Through our proprietary tools and third party sources, you enable the insights capability that drives successful business pitches, search assignments and advisory services.

Job Description

As a Research Associate, you will:

Executive Recruitment Cycle:

  • Provide support to Partners in business development, due diligence and the execution of research assignments, including initial talent market research, identification of candidates and subsequent qualifying calls/reference checks.
  • Prepare for, attend and contribute to pitches alongside Partners where appropriate.
  • Attend Client/Candidate meetings to capture key information to support ongoing/future assignments.
  • Produce long- and/or shortlists of Candidates for ongoing assignments after thorough assessment of Candidates.



Candidate Engagement:

  • Obtain detailed assignment briefs to ensure clear sourcing direction, either through attending Client meetings or directly from Partners.
  • Utilize in-house and third party tools to source and engage relevant Candidates.
  • Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with a network of Candidates to leverage for future opportunities and commercial leads.
  • Assess Candidates for ongoing/future assignments through best practice methods including, but not limited to, screening calls, interviews and formal personality assessments.
  • Offer Candidates support and guidance during and outside of assignments to maintain regular contact with Page Executive.

The Successful Applicant

If you have the following attributes, we would love to hear from you:

  • Bachelor's in any discipline. Experience in executive search, recruitment consulting, management consulting, professional services, or other client‑facing environments is highly desirable.
  • Candidates who can demonstrate experience engaging with C‑level and senior leadership stakeholders will be strongly considered.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple research assignments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence, maturity, and professionalism to engage credibly with C‑suite executives, Board‑level leaders, and senior management.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail; able to deliver accurate, high‑quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively, with minimal supervision, while contributing effectively within a high‑performance team environment.
  • Naturally inquisitive, commercially aware, and intellectually curious, with a mindset for continuous learning and improvement.
  • High degree of discretion, professionalism, and integrity when handling confidential information and senior‑level conversations.
