Leading European financial institution with a strong international presence, providing corporate banking, wealth management, and sustainable financing solutions to clients worldwide. They are currently looking for a Securities Finance Operations Officer to be responsible for daily trade booking, securities borrows and return, settlement and reconciliation.
  • Exposure in trade booking, operation, settlement and reconciliation for SBL
  • Experience in Python, SQL, Power BI and Macro VBA is preferred

About Our Client

Our client is one of the international bank with a strong footprint across Europe and Asia, delivering a broad range of corporate and institutional banking services. Their department is currently looking for a Securities Finance Operations Officer to handle daily trade booking, securities borrows and return, settlement and reconciliation. The successful candidate should have 3 to 5 years of working experience in trade support with good exposure in Python, SQL, Power BI and Macro VBA.

Job Description

  • Managing daily securities finance operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconciling trade discrepancies and resolving settlement issues effectively.
  • Monitoring operational workflows to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external counterparts to address operational queries.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supporting audit and compliance checks as required.
  • Providing ad hoc operational support to meet business needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree holder of business administration, computer science or related disciplines
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in market operations, Python, SQL, Power BI and Macro VBA
  • Strong attention to detail, technical skills with clear and logical manner
  • Work collaboratively with team member
  • Strong quick learning ability to understand policies, procedures, systems, process and controls
  • Excellent of written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
