Our client is a well-known Investment Bank. As a Sales Analyst, you will support Equity Derivatives sales and trading activities by providing critical analysis and insights.

Job Description

  • Partner closely with Front Office Sales and Trading teams to ensure all trades and P&L are accurately captured and reflected in internal systems.
  • Prepare trade recaps, term sheets, and other transaction-related documentation for clients.
  • Ensure trade bookings are accurately reflected across front-to-back systems and reconcile transactions with counterparties.
  • Develop a strong understanding of front-to-back operational workflows, STP processes, and investigate any trade lifecycle issues.
  • Collaborate with Controllers, Settlements, Confirmations, and Reconciliation teams to promptly resolve trade-related exceptions and discrepancies.
  • Support the development and enhancement of infrastructure, systems, and operational processes to facilitate the growth of the Equity Structured Products business.
  • Produce management reports, business metrics, and ad hoc analyses for senior stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Front Office, Middle Office, Sales Support, Trade Support, or Operations role within a reputable financial institution.
  • Knowledge of equity derivatives products, including options, swaps, and structured products. Exposure to quantitative finance is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; knowledge of VBA and/or Python would be an advantage.
