Job Description

As a Risk & Compliance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and assessing compliance risks within the organization.
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal standards.
  • Providing training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Collaborating with various departments to address compliance issues effectively.
  • Preparing and submitting compliance reports to senior management.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and advising on necessary adjustments.
  • Responding to regulatory inquiries and managing external audits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Risk & Compliance Manager should have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
  • Professional qualification (CPA, HKICS/CGP, or equivalent) preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or external audit
  • Experience in listed companies or sizeable multinational organizations preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior management
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
