About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of vertical transportation solutions, delivering innovative elevator and escalator systems across commercial, residential, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a Registered Lift Engineer to support their New Equipment projects in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Act as the Registered Lift Engineer for new lift installation projects.
  • Provide technical oversight throughout project planning, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
  • Ensure all works comply with the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance, relevant regulations, and company safety standards.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on technical matters.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of engineering issues during project execution.
  • Prepare technical reports, certification documentation, and statutory submissions.
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to installation and project teams.



The Successful Applicant

  • Registered Lift Engineer under the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD).
  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in lift and escalator engineering, preferably within new equipment installation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong lift regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in project execution, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.
