A well known lift & Escalator manufacturer is expanding their project team in Hong Kong

Job Description

As a Registered Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and submit the required safety test and examination forms to EMSD in accordance with current codes and regulations
  • Ensuring all projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting site inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members and contractors.
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Registered Engineer should have:

  • A recognised qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • 5-6 years or above of hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of lifts and escalators
  • Attainment of certification of Lift and Escalator Engineers issued by EMSD
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in project management and quality assurance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
