Job Description

Reporting to the Head of APAC Digital and Business Transformation, the Regional Ecommerce Director, APAC will lead a regional function responsible for ecommerce operations, digital content, creative services, site operations, customer experience, and product asset management across multiple markets. The role will oversee a team of more than 20 professionals and be responsible for establishing a high-performance culture, developing talent, and ensuring effective execution across several interconnected digital workstreams.

The successful candidate will own the APAC operating model for ecommerce execution, driving consistency, governance, service standards, and operational excellence while balancing regional alignment with local market requirements. The role will oversee product data management, digital asset readiness, site merchandising activities, and ecommerce launch execution to ensure products and customer-facing content are delivered accurately and on time across all digital channels.

In addition, the Regional Ecommerce Director will lead digital creative execution and site operations, ensuring high-quality customer experiences, strong brand consistency, and successful campaign delivery across APAC ecommerce platforms. Working closely with regional and global teams, the individual will support the localization of content, creative assets, and digital experiences to meet the needs of diverse consumer markets.

A key responsibility will be driving continuous enhancement of the online customer journey through UI/UX improvements, conversion optimization initiatives, usability testing, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making. The role will partner extensively with technology, merchandising, marketing, and global ecommerce teams to identify opportunities that improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall digital performance.

The position will also serve as the voice of APAC within global forums, influencing strategy, representing regional priorities, and ensuring business requirements are incorporated into global technology, ecommerce, and customer experience initiatives. Through strong project leadership and stakeholder management, the Regional Ecommerce Director will oversee complex cross-functional programmes, champion process improvements, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the region.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, online trading, digital operations, customer experience, digital marketing, or related leadership functions within complex multinational organizations. Proven experience leading regional ecommerce operations across APAC and managing large cross-functional teams is essential.

You will possess a strong understanding of ecommerce trading, digital content management, site operations, product information and asset management, customer experience optimisation, and digital production workflows. Experience partnering with global stakeholders, driving regional transformation initiatives, and operating effectively within matrix organisations will be critical to success.

The successful applicant will have outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across regions and functions. Experience working with ecommerce platforms, and digital collaboration tools will be highly advantageous.

Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, strong analytical capabilities, and a hands-on leadership style are essential. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in additional Asian languages will be viewed favorably.
