Job Description

  • Lead and supervise the Quantity Surveying team in all aspects of contract administration and commercial management.
  • Oversee contractual matters throughout the project life-cycle, ensuring compliance with contract terms and timely resolution of disputes and claims.
  • Drive cost planning, budgeting, cost control, procurement, subcontract administration, variation orders (VO), claims, and final account settlement.
  • Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project profitability and performance.
  • Provide strategic commercial advice to project teams and senior management on contractual and financial matters.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture while mentoring and developing team members.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as MHKIS, MRICS, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant quantity surveying and commercial management experience, including at least 5 years in a leading commercial role with a contractor on large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in contract administration, cost management, claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Strong understanding of commercial risk management and value optimisation.
  • In-depth knowledge of quantity surveying practices, construction contracts, and procurement strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
