We are looking for a Paralegal with a few years of work experience and strong English & Chinese language skills, to join a growing Shipping Finance team in Hong Kong.

About Our Client

Our client is a UK headquartered law firm in Hong Kong, well-known for their litigation and financing practices.

Job Description

This role will work alongside other paralegals to support the Partners/lawyers of the Shipping Finance team with:

  • Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Conducting legal research and summarising findings.
  • Organising and maintaining files and legal records.
  • Assisting with document preparation and bibling.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on legal matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
  • Providing administrative support to the legal team as needed.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a background in legal studies and strong proficiency in English and Mandarin. The candidate must have a couple of years of paralegal experience gained from law firms and be interested to learn about the shipping finance practice. The team are willing to train someone up within this practice, but they are looking for someone who is smart, switched-on and hard-working.
