About Our Client

Our client is within the FMCG industry and they are looking for an operations specialist to join their team, They are doing well and expanding their Asia operations. This role will be a hands on role, and will require someone with experience in L/C, import/export trade documentation and also shipment reporting

Job Description

As an Operation Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing daily logistics operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards for logistics.
  • Identifying areas for operational improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Preparing regular reports on logistics performance and efficiency.
  • Providing support to the team in resolving operational challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all logistics activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operation Specialist should have:

  • Around 3-5 years experience in logistics or supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
  • Must have experience in Letter of Credit (L/C)
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools- ability to use V Look Up / Pivot Table.
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills- fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
