About Our Client

Middle Office operations with exposure to a wide range of alternative private activities and transactions, including Private/Public equities, Private Credit (including bond and loan), Real Estate, Derivatives (Vanilla & Exotic), and FX. This position will provide support for many facets of the closing process related to these types of transactions, as well as general transaction project management.

Job Description

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of a broad range of real estate investments, transaction structures, documentation requirements, and relevant regulatory/governance frameworks.
  • Partner closely with investment professionals, asset managers, control functions, and external stakeholders to coordinate and execute all documentation and operational requirements associated with deal closings.
  • Build strong analytical capabilities to support the review of complex transaction structures and contribute to the development of effective and scalable operational processes.
  • Assist in managing transaction workflows, ensuring the timely completion of due diligence, documentation, and closing deliverables.
  • Support ongoing process enhancements and contribute to operational excellence initiatives across the platform.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience within financial services, investment operations, middle office, transaction management, or a related field. Prior internship or work experience supporting private markets, real estate investments, or transaction execution is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Understanding of, or a strong interest in learning about, private market investments, transaction lifecycles, due diligence processes, and deal execution timelines.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is preferred.
