With a strong commitment to operational excellence, safety, reliability, and customer experience, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead engineering maintenance and asset management initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering maintenance activities across operational facilities and transportation systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise asset reliability and availability.
  • Oversee lifecycle management, inspection, testing, and performance improvement programmes for mechanical equipment and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, statutory, regulatory, and engineering standards.
  • Manage engineering projects including equipment upgrades, refurbishment programmes, and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure quality and safety requirements are met.
  • Prepare maintenance budgets, resource planning, and technical reports for senior management.
  • Lead and develop engineering teams through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer or relevant professional membership is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience managing critical asset maintenance within transportation, cable-driven systems, rail, theme park, infrastructure, utilities, aviation, industrial plants, or other asset-intensive environments.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management, reliability engineering, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record in contractor management and project delivery.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety management systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
