They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and industrialisation of high‑volume consumer electronics products.This role works closely with industrial design, electronics, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver products that meet demanding performance, cosmetic, and reliability standards - from early concept through mass production.Job DescriptionDevelop and own mechanical designs for consumer electronics products from concept through productionDesign and validate mechanical components including housings, assemblies, and structural partsLead DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and design reviews to ensure robustness and manufacturabilityWork closely with industrial design to balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturabilitySupport prototype builds (EVT/DVT/PVT) and issue resolution during development and ramp‑upCollaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure tooling, materials, and processes meet requirementsSupport design changes through controlled change processesParticipate in failure analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure products meet relevant quality, safety, and regulatory requirementsThe Successful ApplicantDegree holder in Mechanical Engineering5-8 years of Mechanical Engineer experience, ideally in consumer electronics industryExperience with DFMA principles and manufacturing constraintsProficiency in 3D CAD toolsDetail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skillsHighly fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and EnglishWhat's on OfferAttractive package will be offered to the shortlisted candidate.
