Our client is a Hong Kong headquartered boutique hedge fund.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance, as a Legal & Compliance Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice and support on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
  • Advising on corporate governance and risk management issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Monitoring changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business.
  • Supporting the Head of Legal & Compliance Department in implementing best practices and policies.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a law degree holder with around 2-4 years of relevant legal & compliance experience gained from the financial services industry. Candidates from law firms may also be considered, however it is preferred that they have handled transactional work. The position requires someone with a proactive mindset and a willingness to handle a diverse range of work, as this is a very close-knit team. High proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
