Our client is a logistics and supply chain solutions provider with operations across Asia, and other key markets. As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a commercially minded Junior Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, logistics and transportation agreements, warehousing agreements, procurement contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and other business-related documents.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders across different functions and jurisdictions.
  • Support contract negotiations and advise on legal and commercial risks associated with business operations.
  • Assist with legal matters arising from the company's international logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
  • Advise on corporate and general commercial matters, including corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Manage external counsel on specific projects and legal matters when required



The Successful Applicant

  • Hong Kong qualified solicitor.
  • Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience gained from a reputable law firm.
  • Strong training and experience in corporate and commercial legal practice.
  • Excellent contract drafting, review and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) are essential
  • Willing to travel
