Job Description

As an IT Security Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and managing cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive company data and systems.
  • Monitoring and analyzing security systems to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate weaknesses.
  • Collaborating with the technology department to design secure networks and systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry-specific security regulations and standards.
  • Providing training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Investigating security breaches and implementing measures to prevent future incidents.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Security Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools.
  • Experience in securing industrial or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents effectively.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
