About Our Client

Our client is a multinational FMCG company with sales offices and manufacturing sites across China and Asia. They now seek a HRBP to join their Apac hub in Hong Kong.

Job Description

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia, partnering closely with the business to align people strategies with commercial objectives. Your responsibilities will span the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, capability building, employee engagement, performance management and organisational development. You will work closely with business leaders to strengthen leadership capability, enhance team effectiveness, implement talent and performance frameworks, and drive employee engagement initiatives. In addition, you will support organisational design and change management projects, leverage HR data and insights to inform decision-making, and ensure compliance with local labour legislation and company policies. As the key HR partner for the APAC region, you will also play an important role in supporting regional transformation projects, championing best practices, and helping build a high-performing and engaged workforce that can support the company's ambitious growth strategy through 2030.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will be a proactive and commercially minded HR professional with proven HR Business Partnering experience gained within a regional or multinational environment. You will have a strong track record of partnering with senior leaders, driving talent and organisational initiatives, and implementing people strategies that support business growth. Solid knowledge of Hong Kong and China employment practices is essential, along with experience in employee engagement, talent management, organisational development and change management. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation. Experience supporting both manufacturing operations and commercial sales offices would be highly advantageous, as the role will partner with a diverse employee population across production, distribution and regional commercial functions. Fluency in English and Chinese is required, while experience within FMCG, food & beverage, consumer goods or other commercially driven industries will be viewed favourably.
