Operating a lean and collaborative team in Hong Kong, the company specialises in product trading, export, and sales activities while working closely with stakeholders across the region.Known for its stable business foundation and professional working environment, the organisation offers employees the opportunity to contribute meaningfully, gain visibility with senior leadership, and play a hands-on role in supporting the continued growth and operational excellence of the business.Job DescriptionAs the sole HR and Administration Assistant Manager within the Hong Kong office, you will take ownership of the full spectrum of HR operations and office administration while supporting the business through process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.You will manage end-to-end HR operations, including payroll administration, MPF processing, taxation matters, employee records management, onboarding and offboarding activities, and ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies. You will also support recruitment activities across various functions, partnering with hiring managers to identify talent needs and coordinate the hiring process effectively.A key focus of this role will be building a more structured and scalable HR framework. You will review existing practices, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhanced HR processes, systems, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that improve efficiency, governance, and compliance. You will play an important role in driving system implementation and supporting process automation where appropriate.From an administration perspective, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring employees have the necessary support and resources to perform effectively. Responsibilities include coordinating office facilities matters, managing relationships with building management and external vendors, supporting insurance administration, organising and facilitating client visits and meetings, and maintaining a professional and well-functioning workplace environment.The successful candidate will be encouraged to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and recommend new ideas that enhance both HR and workplace operations.
