Following continued business growth and strategic transformation initiatives, they are seeking a seasoned procurement leader to head their Procurement function in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute the procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives and corporate transformation initiatives.
  • Lead all procurement activities across indirect spend categories, including Technology, Professional Services, Facilities Management, Marketing, Human Resources, and Corporate Services.
  • Establish and enhance category management, sourcing governance, and supplier risk management frameworks.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations to achieve cost optimisation and value generation objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and executive leadership, acting as a trusted procurement advisor.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers, ensuring performance, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, systems, and digital capabilities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
  • Ensure procurement practices adhere to internal governance requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier innovation, and emerging risks to support business continuity and long-term growth.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Proven track record leading procurement functions within financial services, insurance, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and category management.
  • Strong knowledge of third-party risk management and procurement governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience leading procurement transformation, digitalisation, or operating model improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
