Job Description

The RoleReporting to senior management, you will lead the Hong Kong Human Resources function supporting a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees across operational and corporate teams. As a trusted business partner, you will work closely with business leaders to drive workforce effectiveness, talent transformation and employee engagement, while ensuring robust governance, compliance and operational excellence. This role requires a highly commercial HR leader who is comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on in addressing workforce challenges within a dynamic, operationally intensive environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall HR strategy and people agenda, supporting a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees across frontline operations and back office functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Partner closely with business leaders and department heads on workforce planning, manpower budgeting, organizational design and productivity initiatives to support business growth and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive employee engagement, employee relations and workplace wellbeing initiatives, maintaining strong connections with frontline employees and management teams while proactively managing staff issues and workplace concerns.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including workforce structures involving shift-based, part-time and full-time employees, ensuring rewards, incentives and benefits remain competitive, equitable and aligned with business needs.
  • Lead talent management initiatives including talent reviews, succession planning, capability assessment and skills gap analysis, developing strategies for internal development and external talent acquisition to support future business requirements.
  • Act as a key HR leader in ongoing business, digital and HR transformation initiatives, driving process improvements, policy enhancement, data-driven decision making and modernization of HR practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, corporate governance and listed company requirements, providing HR analytics, workforce reporting and strategic insights to senior management and relevant governance committees, including the Remuneration Committee.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified with at least 18-20 years of progressive HR experience, including substantial leadership responsibility within large, complex and workforce-intensive organizations.
  • Proven experience supporting frontline and operational employee populations, with strong expertise in employee relations, workforce management, compensation and benefits, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading HR transformation, organizational change, digitalization initiatives and the modernization of HR policies, processes and practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in workforce planning, manpower budgeting, talent management, succession planning and capability development.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to leverage workforce metrics, HR analytics and business insights to influence decision-making and organizational outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and effective partnerships across frontline teams, senior management and governance bodies.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
