Page Executive is actively seeking for a Head of Credit Control, for a large Hong Kong Listed Organisation. The Head of Credit Control will oversee and lead global credit control operations, ensuring effective management of credit risk and compliance with company policies. This role requires strategic leadership to optimize cash flow and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

As a Global Head of Credit Control, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Report to the Group CFO, with direct oversight of the regional credit control team
  • Developing and implementing global credit control policies and procedures to minimize credit risk.
  • Overseeing the assessment and approval of credit limits for customers.
  • Monitoring and analyzing credit risk exposure across the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all credit control activities.
  • Collaborating with internal departments, such as sales and finance, to optimize cash flow and resolve disputes.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting insights to senior management on credit performance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and financial institutions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related discipline.
  • At least 20 years of relevant working experience.
  • A strong background in credit control and management from sizeable organisations, either MNC or HK Listed companies.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing international teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
