Our client is the international trading arm of a Hong Kong-listed enterprise, specializing in global supply chain management for petrochemical and energy products. With strong industry partnerships and ambitious expansion plans, the business is actively growing its presence across key international commodity markets.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage global supplier and trading partner networks for petrochemical and energy products.
  • Execute international sourcing, commercial negotiations, and trading activities.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supply-demand dynamics to support trading strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage international purchase and sales contracts.
  • Oversee trade execution, including shipping, logistics, storage, inspection, and delivery arrangements.
  • Manage trade finance and settlement processes, including L/C, T/T, and related banking activities.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial, market, credit, and logistics risks.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Support new product development and business expansion initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum, Energy Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of international trading experience in petrochemicals, LPG, energy products, or related commodities.
  • Good understanding of global energy markets, supply chains, and pricing mechanisms such as FOB, CFR, and CIF.
  • Familiarity with Platts, Argus, and other commodity pricing benchmarks.
  • Strong commercial negotiation, business development, and risk management capabilities.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
