Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of fintech initiatives, including cloud-based systems, digital currency solutions, and cross-border distributed ledger connectivity
  • Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements, translating them into scalable technical solutions
  • Support system deployment activities using scripting tools; perform testing, debugging, documentation, and ongoing implementation tasks
  • Assist in managing project scope, timelines, costs, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery within budget and schedule
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure deliverables align with project objectives and timelines
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting and analysing relevant data and metrics
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve overall project and organisational goals

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in system development), preferably within the financial services sector
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure setup and/or application deployment
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Terraform, Ansible, Nginx, API integration (RESTful/SOAP), and databases (e.g., MySQL)
  • Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger or Ethereum), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices (cloud or on-premises), Docker, Kubernetes, and encryption technologies (SSL/TLS, symmetric/asymmetric cryptography) is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms is a strong plus
  • Good technical documentation and writing skills
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
