About Our Client

A well-established and diversified Hong Kong-based conglomerate with a strong international presence is currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager

Job Description

  • Oversee annual budget preparation, monthly management reporting, financial close processes, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
  • Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP/SAP enhancement projects, process optimization, and automation to improve operational efficiency and controls.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, cost control, and profitability improvement initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders to support sustainable growth and performance.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities, providing strategic insights and business partnering support to corporate functions and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies, while coordinating external audits and statutory reporting.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Support the Finance Director on strategic projects, business initiatives, and ad-hoc assignments

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Recognized professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting, finance operations, monthly closing, internal controls within complex corporate environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, ERP platforms, with a proven ability to drive system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks across multinational and China-related business operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a successful track record in managing finance teams while building strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
