This role will play a key part in project evaluation, financial due diligence, modelling, and ongoing financial management of investment projects. The ideal candidate will have a Big 4 background and strong experience in investment‑related finance, project analysis, and commercial decision support.

A well‑established investment platform with a diversified portfolio focuses on infrastructure‑related assets across multiple regions. With ongoing portfolio expansion, the company is looking to strengthen its Hong Kong finance function by hiring an experienced Finance Manager.

Job Description

Investment & Project Finance

  • Lead financial evaluation of investment projects, including feasibility studies, business case assessment, and return analysis
  • Prepare and review financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis) for new investments and strategic projects
  • Support investment approval processes, including preparation of investment papers and presentations to senior management
  • Monitor financial performance of approved projects versus budget and forecast



Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Provide commercial and financial insights to management on project performance and investment opportunities
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and variance analysis related to investment projects
  • Work closely with operational and project teams to ensure financial assumptions align with business realities



Due Diligence & Advisory

  • Participate in financial due diligence for potential investments, acquisitions, or joint ventures
  • Liaise with external advisors (auditors, valuers, legal and tax advisors) on transaction‑related matters
  • Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies for investment projects



Governance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, approval frameworks, and corporate governance requirements
  • Support internal and external audit requests relating to investment and project activities
  • Assist in improving financial processes and controls around project and investment management



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • Big 4 experience is highly preferred (Audit, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, Valuation, or Corporate Finance)
  • Qualified or near‑qualified accountant (CPA / ACCA / ACA) is an advantage
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in investment finance, project finance, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Solid understanding of investment appraisal, financial reporting, and commercial decision‑making
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Good command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
