This newly created position will play a critical role in driving the firm's ETF business growth through product development, portfolio management, investment research, and market intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of ETF products, from concept generation and launch execution to ongoing portfolio oversight and strategic development.

Job Description

  • Lead the development and enhancement of ETF products, including market research, feasibility studies, index methodology assessment, product positioning, and launch execution.
  • Manage ETF portfolios and oversee portfolio construction, rebalancing activities, liquidity management, tracking error monitoring, and execution oversight.
  • Conduct portfolio analytics, performance attribution, and risk assessment to support investment decision-making and management reporting.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and investor demand within the ETF and index investment landscape to identify new product opportunities and growth areas.
  • Generate investment insights, market commentary, and product-related materials to support internal stakeholders, clients, and distribution teams.
  • Partner closely with investment, sales, product, risk, compliance, operations, and external service providers to ensure effective product governance and successful execution of strategic initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within asset management, ETF/index investing, portfolio management, quantitative research, or related investment functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in ETF product development, product management, portfolio construction, investment research, and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of ETF ecosystem and operating mechanisms, including index replication methodologies, creation/redemption process, market-making activities, rebalancing, liquidity management, and tracking error analysis.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, portfolio management systems, and quantitative analytical tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is highly preferred.
