We are looking for a skilled Engineer (Radio or Television Broadcast) to join our team in Kowloon. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and maintaining broadcasting systems within the Technology & Telecoms industry.

Job Description

  • Maintain and troubleshoot radio and television transmission equipment across multiple sites.
  • Ensure optimal performance of broadcasting infrastructure through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Lead a technical sub-team, schedule daily tasks, and provide training on technical skills.
  • Implement enhancement, renovation, and replacement projects to improve broadcast services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve broadcasting issues efficiently.
  • Conduct field strength surveys and handle reception complaints.
  • Document technical processes, prepare maintenance reports, and track service level achievements.
  • Provide input for continuous improvement of procedures and processes.
  • Offer technical support during live broadcasts and emergency situations.
  • Perform 24-hour standby duty and emergency call-outs as required.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or higher in electronics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in terrestrial radio or TV broadcast transmitter maintenance or equivalent.
  • Strong technical expertise in broadcasting systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements for broadcast operations.
  • Proven ability to lead a small technical team, train staff, and manage daily schedules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills for reporting and coordinating tasks.
  • Flexibility for 24/7 standby duty and emergency call-outs when required.
