Job Description

As a Director of Data Centre, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead end-to-end infrastructure operations for data centres in Southeast Asia, covering the full facility life cycle (from commissioning/handover through ongoing operations and optimisation).
  • Oversee the reliable operation and maintenance of critical systems, including high/low-voltage electrical distribution, UPS, diesel generators, precision cooling (CRAC/CRAH), fire detection/suppression, and Building Automation (BA/BMS) systems.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for availability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement robust emergency response plans, incident management processes, and business continuity procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, energy optimization, predictive maintenance, and risk reduction.
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations on fire safety, electrical safety, occupational health, labor laws, environmental standards, and data centre-specific requirements across Southeast Asian countries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Infrastructure Operations should have:

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in data center infrastructure operations and maintenance management. Must include full-cycle leadership of large-scale IDC projects from delivery/commissioning to steady-state operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in core data center systems:
    • High and low-voltage power distribution
    • UPS systems and backup power (diesel generators)
    • Precision cooling and HVAC
    • Fire detection, suppression, and safety systems
    • Building Management/Automation Systems (BMS/BA)
  • Regional Experience: Proven hands-on experience managing data center operations in Southeast Asia (e.g., Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.). Candidates must be familiar with local regulations regarding fire safety, electrical codes, occupational safety, and labour compliance
